Who is affected by weak bladder control?

Around 40% of new mothers and half of all middle-aged women, which increases to three quarters of senior women. Half of men over age fifty have weak bladder symptoms. Bedwetting is a problem for 20% of children and for some teenagers and, surprisingly, many female athletes have bladder leakage. Incontinence can also be a problem for young people who have had head or back injuries.
